New WMCA Air Quality Website and Toolkit Now Available

The West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) has launched a new air quality website and data platform, providing a central hub for air quality information, live sensor data, and guidance on improving air quality across the region.

To support local authorities and stakeholders in communicating air quality issues effectively, WMCA has also developed an Air Quality Communications Toolkit. This resource includes social media assets, web banners, leaflet templates, infographics, and an Air Quality Literacy Training Course designed to increase awareness and engagement on air pollution issues.

These resources, developed as part of a Defra-funded Air Quality Project, are designed to help local authorities and organizations engage the public and drive action toward cleaner air.
