WM-Net Zero was featured at the University Executive Board “Roadshow” held on 21 April 2026 at the Old Gym, bringing together colleagues from across the School of Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences (GEES). The event provided a platform to connect, share, and celebrate the breadth of research taking place across the school, highlighting its role in addressing some of today’s most pressing environmental and societal challenges.
Representing WM-Net Zero, Professor Zongbo Shi, Dr Yuqing Dai, and Dr Abril Herrera Chavez presented an overview of the project, showcasing how its work links climate action, health, and regional policy.
The session offered an opportunity to engage with a wide range of academic and professional staff, strengthening internal collaboration and raising awareness of how WM-Net Zero contributes to shaping healthier, low-carbon futures across the West Midlands.
